Research and Dissemination of Best Practices

Pearson has a dedicated research team who conducts extensive primary and secondary research and evaluation studies to improve educational outcomes. We also collaborate with external partners to better understand the access needs of all learners.

The team conducts research studies on accessibility, research specific to development and product needs for assessment and iterative usability studies with people with disabilities to inform best practice in accessible user experience.

We review and synthesize existing research to identify knowledge gaps, to inform policy and practice related to assessments and accommodations.
